Spring In Greece - Kos Island

As soon as you leave a plane you are embraced by mild and warm air. It's not hot like on the mainland, all the island is blown through by the wind. This post won't contain architecture, sights, important historic ruins or excavations. Because it's not the most meaningful here. It's the territory of the nature, mountains and the sea. Emerald water kisses the coastal pebbles, everything around is in bloom, the air has so many smells, hardly caught but so wonderful.

Kos is considered to be a place for eco-tourism. Bicycles can be hired in many places.
Wonderful flowers are blooming right at the sea.
Probably this flower is called "toilet brush"...
Citizens of the island breed goats.
Citrus plants grow right in the streets and if nobody picks them, they lie about on the ground.
Jasmine in blossom
Fishing boats intended for several people. On a boat something like a little booth is built, painted and decorated in the way an owner prefers. More often they are red, blue or white.
Tables are used for fish sale immediately after the catch. Often fish is still alive.
Nets are being untangled.
The brave cat lost a piece of its ear somewhere in a battle.
Paths made of little stones.
A vehicle transporting hens.
Succulent plant
Some abandoned village
Nearly all houses are ruined, but the church is in a good condition -  freshly whitewashed.
At the crossroads Greeks set a chapel-house for icons and icon lamps.
