1. The Canadian Rockies
The Canadian Rockies comprise the Canadian segment of the North American Rocky Mountains range. This natural beauty spot houses five national parks, four of which (Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Yoho) make up the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage site, and it’s easy to see why. Snap-happy tourists will be spoilt for choice with stunning landscapes comprising peaks, glaciers, lakes, waterfalls, canyons and caves. Better take a spare memory card.
2. Niagara Falls
The Niagara Falls are voluminous waterfalls on the Niagara River, straddling the border between Ontario and New York. On the Canadian side, Queen Victoria Park offers platforms with spectacular views of the falls, and underground walkways that lead into observation rooms which give the illusion of being within the falling waters. The observation deck of the nearby Skylon Tower offers the best birds-eye view of the Falls – not one for the faint-hearted!
3. Pacific Rim National Park
Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia is made up of three separate regions: Long Beach, the Broken Group Islands, and the West Coast Trail. Open from mid-March until mid-October, the park is a haven for hikers, comprising varied terrain of rugged coastline and lush rainforest. Keep your eyes peeled for whales, seals and sea lions (especially in the spring) and twitchers will have a plethora of exciting bird species to spy on.
4. Cabot Trail, Nova Scotia
The Cabot Trail loops around the northern tip of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, and is over 185 miles long. The trail passes through many charming communities, each with breathtaking scenery and unforgettable hospitality. Whilst on the trail take the time to hike in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, go whale watching, visit the museums and galleries and sample some of the finest seafood in the world.
5. Baffin Island
Baffin Island is an extremely remote spot, located in Arctic Ocean of Northern Canada. The island offers visitors unique experiences such as viewing polar bears, catching a glimpse of the Northern Lights, and kayaking between ice flows. Whether you’re looking for an out-of-the-way adventure or a relaxing break in remotest Northern Canada, Baffin Island has it all.
6. Vancouver
You’ll never be short of things to do in arguably Canada’s most vibrant city. 8. Old Québec City

9. Bay of Fundy
The Bay of Fundy is a 170-mile-long ocean bay that stretches between the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia on Canada’s east coast.
