Local Guiness Records And DQ Ice-Cream

Some days ago at noon in Toronto there gathered a lot of people who wishedto eat DQ ice-cream for free give moral support to the team of DQ (Dairy Queen) confectioners that included more than 100 people and who set a record of making the biggest ice-cream cake weighing 22,333.6 pounds (about 10,13 tons) and thus beat the previous Guiness record of theirs they had set 5 years ago in China for 500 pounds!
Making of the cake took 14 hours and a couple of hours for gathering at Yonge-Dundas Square.
Last preparations and the last piece that weighed 500 kg.
Emblem DQ
In last minutes one little piece fell off...
But it was immediately fixed.
The symbol of any Toronto team
And finally the cake is ready!
And the certificate from the Guiness team, given out by the woman on the right.
Representatives of the Hospital for Sick Children are here to gather donations.
And the first piece to the visitors.
And the team of support
Hungry people...
